Writing Your Elected Officials

In addition to financial donations, you can help save three sisters springs by writing letters to your elected officials. Click Here for a sample letter and some suggestions.

It is imperative that your elected officials hear of your support for the three sisters project. Please use the information below to craft three separate personalized letters to your two senators, Mel Martinez and Bill Nelson and your representative Ginny Brown- Waite. Personalized letters are much more valuable political currency than form letters or emails. A suggested method would be to expand on 2 or 3 of the bullets provided below and provide one additional unique reason of your own. The opening and closing of the letter can also be personalized but a clear statement in support of the project including the specific request for 5.6 million in the closing is important. In this phase of the project we can not rely on some one else's participation. We need each of you to write both your senators and your house member a support letter. Thanks again for your help.
